This is the first post. In it, I play on promoting my own site, danielboyle.net. After all, isn't that the point to this whole blogging thing?

Well, no, not entirely.

Increased links & traffic would be nice, but really, don't expect every entry to link 'home.' Rather... one of the things I missed about college was the constant 'talking' about design. So instead of getting blatant self-promotion, you get constant rambling - a nice trade-off, eh?
