Currently, I'm an Art Director for Tender, crafting experiences and leading designers in a small, design-oriented studio. Previously, I've crafted experiences for some of the largest companies in the US, supported the entertainment industry and worked for smaller studios to help people manage their finances. I helped a new agency kick-start their interactive practice. Elsewhere, I've work in-house with small teams to build up web presences.
Outside of work, I'm similarly involved in creative tasks, whether it's cooking, construction or independent design projects. I also illustrate, photograph, screenprint and program. I approach all of these tasks not just from the perspective of visual design, but with a eye towards the underlying structure, process, and experience.
Responsible for both creative leadership on both new business opportunities and existing clients for a small, design-focused digital agency. Work to establish guidelines and standards for both visual and technical details, as well as mentoring and leading junior design staff.
Clients: FontaineBleau Miami, Studios Architecture
I occasionally solicit or take on independent freelance work when the mood strikes. I look for clients who will be good to work with, open to new ideas, and provide a unique service or product. Because this cannot interfere with my full-time employment, I am very careful to only accept a certain amount of work under certain conditions.
